Mr. Danial Timothy Davies, age 71, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at his residence in Pineville, Louisiana surrounded by his loving family.

Memorial Services for Mr. Davies will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Alexandria at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Davies was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved playing and teasing all the grandchildren and was very meticulous about his yardwork. Mr. Davies was a patriotic man serving in the United States Army and as a Detroit Police Officer for many years. He later went to work for Southern Chevrolet, were he stayed for 27 years. Mr. Danial Davies will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.

Mr. Davies was preceded in death by his parents, Rees P. Davies and Shirley Domke Davies.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Penny Broderick Davies of Pineville; sons, Eric Jones (Tiffany) from The Colony, Texas, Ryan Davies (Taylor) of Pineville, Jermey Jones (Brittney) of Pineville, Brett Davies (Jessica) of Madison Heights, Michigan, and Jason Davies (Christy) of Madison Heights, Michigan; sister, Sherry Irland of Michigan; grandchildren, Katelyn, Taylor, Conner, Cameron, Audrey, Brooklyn, Kaleb, Kristen, and Camden; 5 nieces and nephews; and a host of extend family and friends.
