Mrs. Frances Morrow Mims, age 83, of Ball, Louisiana, and entered eternal rest on Friday, July 26, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Services for Mrs. Mims will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home with Revered Darrell Ingram officiating. Visitation for Mrs. Mims will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mims was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She enjoyed writing letters and keeping record of the family’s genealogy. Mrs. Mims was a home body who loved chocolate, Blue Bell, and watching movies on mute. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Victor Mims, Sr., parents, Lester and Alene Morrow; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Bland.
Mrs. Mims is survived by her daughter, Beverly Coutee (Tommy) of Pineville, son, Mel Roper (Judy) of Ball; step-son, Victor Mims, Jr.; sister, Mary Sue Bland of Texarkana, Arkansas; grandchildren, Timothy Roper (Mindy), David Roper (Paula) and Dain Coutee; great-grandchildren, Joseph Coutee, Nathan Roper, David Roper, Jr., Matthew Roper, Abigail Roper, and Darnell Thomas; and a host of extended family and friends.
