Life Story for Robert Larry Brown
Mr. Robert L. Brown, age 78 of Mansura, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. Private family services will be held at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball on Monday, August 19, 2019. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Brown was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served his country in the US Navy for over 22 years.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elbra Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Frankie Brown; three daughters, Toni Obanion (Carl), Kathy Hutzler (Jason) and Laura Svebek (Chris); one son, Bryan Brown; seven grandchildren, Shane Obanion, Terri Newhouse, Jacob Hutzler, Landon Ivy, Candice Ivy, Jenna Hutzler and Madison Svebek and two great-grandchildren, Jayme Newhouse, Jr. and Nikolas Newhouse.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
