Obituary for Paul Anthony "Sonny" Miletello
Mr. Paul Anthony “Sonny” Miletello, age 81, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mr. Miletello on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Rita Catholic Church in Alexandria with Father Craig Scott officiating. There will be a visitation just prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Visitation for Mr. Miletello will be held on Sunday August 25, 2019; at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service on Monday in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mr. Paul Miletello was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a faithful member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Alexandria. Mr. Miletello retired as an agronomist with the USDA and was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Army. He grew the best tomatoes and was known for his wonderful gardens. Mr. Paul Miletello will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Miletello and Margaret Pizzolato; and a brother, Joseph Kerry Miletello.
Mr. Miletello is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sandra Landry Miletello; daughters, Ronda Miletello of Marietta, Georgia and Vicki Cox (David) of Coco Beach, Florida; sister, Patsy Cifreo of Maringouin, Louisiana; one grandson, Landon Bradley Cox; three nephews and one niece.
