Mrs. Mary Sterling Lawrence “Nine” Antee, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services for Mrs. Antee will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana with Father Raj officiating. Visitation for Mrs. Antee will be on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.at Gallagher Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service on Saturday in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mary Antee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a faithful member of St. Francis and Anne Catholic Church in Kolin and a resident of central Louisiana her entire life. On April 7, 2019 Mrs. Antee celebrated her 22nd birthday for the 58th time! She loved her family and will be missed by many that knew and loved her.
She spent many hours driving her three children and “her other” kids all over the country to ball games, dance lessons and many other activities. She cherished the times that she could watch their games even if it was on the opposite side of the gym from Kenneth.
Mrs. Antee is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Marjorie Lawrence; a grandson, Mathew Joseph Johnston; sister, Emily Carbo and a brother, Joseph Cappel Lawrence.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth R. Antee, Sr of Pineville; two daughters, Rene’ Antee Johnston of Winnsboro and Marjorie Antee Delaney of Jackson, MS; one son, Kenneth R. Antee, Jr (Kathryn) of Shreveport; five grandchildren, Monica Antee Auschwitz (Tyler) of Tulsa, OK, Dianna Antee Foulke (Evan) of Knoxville, TN, Kendall Antee Kopfler (Armand) of New Orleans, LA; Katie Johnston (Tempson Marc) of Winnsboro and John Toler Flash of Shreveport; five great-grandchildren, Caleb Mathew Auschwitz, Kennedy Ann Auschwitz, Carter Richard Auschwitz, Kohan Mathew Marc and George Kenneth Foulke; two brothers, Clifford L. Lawrence (Myra) and James Leo Lawrence (Nancy). Sister-in-Law, Carol Lawrence.
