Obituary for Bobbie Jane Thompson (Atwell)
Mrs. Bobbie Jane Atwell Thompson, age 77, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 18, 2019 at Tioga Community Care Center.
Mrs. Thompson was a loving mother and sister. She was a member of Alpine Baptist Church in Pineville and enjoyed gardening and sewing. Mrs. Thompson retired from the Rapides Parish Library after many years of faithful service. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Atwell and Hazel Atwell; brother, William Edward Atwell; and sister, Dorothy Driggers.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, David Michael Thompson (Dawn) of Pineville; daughters, Tina Adcock of Shreveport and Debra Sue Dowings (Steve) of Shreveport; sister, Betty Mars (Roy) of Fort Worth, Texas.
