Obituary for Matthew Wayne Hickey
Matthew Wayne Hickey, age 18, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
Services for Matthew will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Philadelphia Baptist Church 722 Philadelphia Rd, Deville, LA 71328 with Pastor Phillip Robertson. Burial will be in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Friends may visit on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church.
Matthew was a loving son, brother, grandson and friend. He will forever be missed by those who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Melton and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Barbara Hickey.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Chandra "Sandy" and Robert Hickey of Pineville; his sisters, Tiffini Lynn Jones (Chance), Toni Lane Hickey and Taylor Kathleen Lewing, all of Hineston; his maternal grandmother, Eloise Cook; his maternal grandfather, Roy Cook, both of Alexandria; aunts, Patricia Wiley and Rhonda Hickey; his nieces, Karlee and Emmalynn and nephews, Easton and Nixon; his Godmother, Greta Beaubouef and dear family friend, Randy Marcantel.
Pallbearers honored to serve are; Robert Wayne Hickey, Stanley Young, Matt Brossett, Josh Dubroc, Clancy Paulk, Ben Emmery. Honorary Pallbearers are; Christopher Ryan, Wayne Beaubouef, and Jacob Sauseda.
