We buried my dad not long after Ms. Dunn's burial. I happen to see this obituary and wondered if this kind lady might have been my Sunday School teacher around 50 years ago at Community Baptist church? The lady I remember was the strongest Christian lady I know and I have never forgotten her.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of this lovely lady. She was a dear friend of our family, and especially my mother, Mona Welch. My earliest memories of her were when I was a young teen at Community Baptist Church in Alexandria. She always smiled and had a word of encouragement for everyone, no matter her trial or circumstance. I have no doubt that my mother was one of the first she was reunited with upon her passing into heaven, and she was surely met with open and loving arms. I can just see those two, together, worshipping at the feet of Jesus right now. Such joy!
