Donald Rae Boudreaux was born on October 8, 1937 in Alexandria, Louisiana. He passed away peacefully at home on November 16, 2019.
Inurnment with Naval Military Honors will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019 in Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
He served 6 years in the United States Navy, 25 years as a firefighter and retired as a captain of the Alexandria Fire Department. He also served as a deputy for the Rapides Sheriff Department. We cherish his memory and the joy he brought to our lives. We love you and miss you.
Donald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Floretta; two brothers, Wallace and Roy; five children, Rose Hunter (Kevin), Anna(preceded in death), Donna Chiasson (Brian), Therese Surdel (Rich), Louise Zinnel (Mark) and Joseph Boudreaux (Stephanie); 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
