Obituary for George Andrew Foster III

Mr. George Andrew Foster III, age 63, died peacefully at his home in Pineville, Louisiana on November 26, 2019. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Gallagher Funeral Home on Saturday, November 30, 2019 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m..

George was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being an antique fishing lure collector.
George loved his family, cousins and friends and he will be missed greatly by those who knew him. George is now at peace with The Lord.

George is survived by his wife, Alisa Goudeau Foster; his daughter, Jill Guidry of Baton Rouge; step-son, Seth (Alicia) Thomas of Kolin; son-in-law, Scott Dickson of Pineville; his grandchildren, Seth Spinner of Baton Rouge; Alex and Maci Thomas and Madelyne and Landon Dickson, all from Pineville; his sister-in-law, Stacy Goudeau and Jane Turner, both of Alexandria; sisters, George Ann Scallan of Pollock; Fran (Amir) Aslam of Virginia; their children, Cameron and Miriam; Fae Foster and her children, Haas and Savannah; his brother, Flynn (Dana) and their children, Landon and Luke and his step-mother, Darlene Foster, all of Baton Rouge. George had a host of friends throughout Louisiana and Texas including his special cousin, P. A. Cain (Ann); along with special friends, Cliff (Lacey) Slaughter, John (Jerri) Karsiney, Mike (Sissy) Nitz and Leo (Robyn) Riechle.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Gladys and Buddy Morrison; his father, George Andrew Foster, Jr., his sister, Felicia Foster and his step-daughter, Amber Dickson.

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Heart of Hospice for the care and compassion they provided through this time. A special thanks to Dr. Abi-Rashed and Dr. Granger; for their devoted care and support as well as the entire staff at RRUC for the wonderful care and concern given.
