Obituary for Bessie Lee McCoy (Slagle)
A memorial service celebrating the life of Bessie Lee Slagle McCoy, age 90, will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at England Oaks Resident Activity Center at England Airpark.
Ms. McCoy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and aunt.
She passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Woods Haven Senior Citizens Home in Pollock, LA.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Harkins of Alexandria, LA; granddaughters, Renee Lynn Hamner (Joe) of Ball, LA and Tisha Marie Lubanko of Upland, CA; great-grandchildren; Bre Ann Austyn Credeur (Christian), Brennan Hamner (Laney), Collin Hamner, TaTiana Lubanko, Tiara DiGerolamo and Carissa Hagan-Abili and one great-great grandson, Josiah Hagan-Abili and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Roland Bradley McCoy, Jr.; her son, Larry Steven McCoy, her parents, Henry Frank Slagle and Matilda Jarvis Slagle and 8 siblings.
