Obituary for Christopher James Ikerd
Christopher James Ikerd, age 38 of Pollock entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services for Chris Ikerd will be on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel in Ball, Louisiana. Visitation for Mr. Ikerd will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gallagher Funeral Home.
Chris was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved his family, Hunting, fishing , bull riding, music and sports. Chris worked at Academy because of his love for the outdoors. Whether it was LSU baseball or football, Saints, Houston Astros or hunting shows, Chris could be found close by. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Chris is survived by his wife of 2 years, Tabitha Ikerd of Pollock; three sons, John Bond, Zachary Bond and Taylor Bond; two daughters, Kristen Issac (Charlie) and Leeann Bond (Eric); his mother, Elizabeth Richardson; six grandchildren, Jacob Crooks, Gavin Issac, Kaysen Bond, William Bond, Skylynne Issac and Braylin Issac; one brother, Josh Ikerd (Bianca); six sisters, Rachal Ballew, Rebecca Glasby, Rosana Alvarado, Virginia Davis, Monica Davis and Charity Miranda; uncle, John Ikerd; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
