We were blessed to have Bill and his family live across the street from us when we were kids. My siblings and I were teens and preteens at the time and we were so excited to have a new house and new friends when we moved in. Bill and our Dad Frank quickly became friends and intense ping pong rivals. For hours they would go head to head in highly competitive games. These were good times for all and they gave Bill and our Dad a healthy outlet for unwinding after a hard days work. Both would play until they were drenched and exhausted; we would watch in amazement when we saw how hard and long they could endure. Over the years, the Lonidier family blessed us with friendship, good times and eventually a husband for my sweet sister Wendy! We love the Lonidier family and pray for the peace that passes all understanding in the wake of Bill’s passing. RIP Billy.
