Obituary for Gracie M. Parish (Smith)
Funeral services for Mrs. Gracie S. Parish will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Danny Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Springhill Cemetery, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Parish, age 90, of Ball, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Parish; one son, Jimmy Parish; one great-granddaughter, Hayleigh Grace Griffin.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Griffin (William) of Denham Springs; daughter-in-law, Martha Parish of Ball; three brothers, Don Smith (Barbara) of Batesville, AR, Myron Smith (Ann) of Abington, MD and Marvin Smith of Angleton, TX; four grandchildren, Chris Parish (Jennifer), Beth Parish, Michael Griffin (Darla) and Eric Griffin (Rebecca); eight great-grandchildren, Nathan Parish, Rebecca Parish, Ashley Parish, Dane Griffin, Kristen Monaghan; two great-great grandsons, Jody Griffin and Elliott Griffin.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be, Bill Griffin, Michael Griffin, Eric Griffin, Dane Griffin, Chris Parish and Nathan Parish
