Graveside services for Mrs. Mamie H. Anderson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Lonestar Baptist Church Cemetery, Hineston, Louisiana with Reverend David Kimsey officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Anderson, age 87, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Hilltop Nursing Home, Pineville, Louisiana.

Mamie loved quilting, gardening, and cooking for her family and friends. She loved listening to Cajun music. She was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher of Lonestar Baptist Church, Hineston, Louisiana. She loved children.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Anderson and Leo Carruth; brothers, Durwood and Ralph Hodge; sisters, Dorothy Gallien, Mildred Elaine Hodge and Myrtle Clara Hodge.

She is survived by her nephew, Joe Gallien of Pineville; nieces, Tish Hull (Randy) of Pineville, Belinda Hodge (Louis) of Texas, Frances Hodge of Texas, Sandra Cobb of Texas and Susan Arceneaux (Jay) of Texas; special great niece, Heather Gallien of Pineville; special friends, Ann Funderburk of Pineville and William Ellington of Alexandria.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Joe Gallien, Randy Hull, Carl Linzay and William Ellington.

Friends may call on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Hilltop Nursing Home and Compassionate Care Hospice for their love and care.
