Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Gillespie Hayes will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverends Kenneth Wilkerson and Keith Dickens officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Hayes, age 75, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Christus Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lovis and SD Gillespie; two sons, John Lee Hayes, Jr. and Dwight Hayes; two brothers, Charles and Harry Gillespie; two sisters, Mary Jo Gillespie and Sharon Hedricks.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Johnny Hayes of Deville; three sons, Randy Hayes (Terri) of Pineville, Garry Hayes (Misty) of Pineville and Eric Hayes (Christa) of Pineville; one brother, Dwight Gillespie of Sicily Island; six sisters, Anita Alexander of Shreveport, Helen Smith of Zachary, Barbara Lee of Monroe, Patricia Martin of Pineville, Diane Gillespie of Pineville and Michelle Gillespie of Pineville; seven grandchildren, Ashley Forbes, Kellie Hayes, Aimee Hennison, Nikki Hayes, Carl Meadows, Gregory Meadows and Raychel Crawford; great grandchildren, Allie Catherine Hennison, J. Landry Hennison and Brendon Ray Forbes.

Friends may visit on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
