Life Story for Theresa Cunningham

Theresa Cunningham
Mrs. Cunningham, age 69, of Deville entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was an amazing person, friend, wife and mother. Her life was simple, yet full of love, laughter and tears. She was optimistic and always saw the good in people. She showed grace and had a lot of empathy for others. She devoted her life to her family and loved unconditionally. Spirituality was important to her and she kept her faith through all of life’s trials and tribulations. She had a big warm smile that would light your eyes up when you saw it. Her sense of humor was dry and witty. She enjoyed dancing, T.V. game shows and laughing, even at herself at times. She wasn’t into name brand clothes or materialistic things but she knew what was important in life; God, love and family.

She was survived by loving husband, William H. Cunningham; one daughter, Holly Dunn; one brother, Ross Blakesley; one nephew, Josh Blakesley; two nieces, Toni Wilmore and Shelly Blakesley.

A private family memorial will be schedule at a later date.

The family would like to ask all donations be made to The ALS Association,
11725 Industriplex Blvd. Ste. 3 Baton Rouge, La. 70809-5190.
