Memorial services for Mrs. Kay Kilpatrick will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Open Door Community Church, Deville, Louisiana with Reverend Steve Scull officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Kay Swims Kilpatrick, age 61, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Kay was originally from Dyersburg, Tennessee and a lifelong resident of Deville, LA. She was raised Pentecostal and was a member of the Pentecostals of Alexandria. She was a mail carrier in the Deville area for many years and she loved being outdoors. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and a faithful devout Christian. Kay was hardworking, compassionate and caring.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Kilpatrick; daughter, Sarah Kilpatrick Arceneaux; father, Grady C. Swims; mother, Pauline Goodman Swims; three brothers, Grady E. Swims, Bill Harris and Morris Harris; two sisters, Helen Jane (Janie) Swims Culp and Betty Swims McGuire.

She is survived by two daughters, Anna Kilpatrick and Rachel Kilpatrick; son-in-law, Dwight Arceneaux; three grandchildren, Gabriel, Noah and Elah Arceneaux; sister, Patti Swims Zoricak; also survived by many family and friends.

Friend may visit on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Open Door Community Church, Deville, LA from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
