Obituary for James Rufus "Bubba" Shelton III
Funeral services for Mr. James Rufus Shelton, III will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church, Montgomery, Louisiana with Reverend Nathaniel Young officiating. Interment will be in the Shelton Family Cemetery, Montgomery, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball Louisiana.
Mr. Shelton, age 55, of Montgomery, Louisiana entered eternal rest on October 5, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Rufus Shelton, Jr.; wife, Peggy Shelton.
He is survived by his mother, Margia P. Shelton of Montgomery; two brothers, David Chelette (Pat) of Sterlington and Art Shelton (Sue) of Montgomery; two sisters, Alisha Robertson of Montgomery and Zan Desadier (Thomas) of Campti.
Friends may visit on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Montgomery United Pentecostal Church, Montgomery, Louisiana from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
