Susan A. Ingram passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her residence, surrounded her loving family.

She maintained her faith throughout a long and courageous battle with cancer and was reunited with her husband of 48 years, Jerry D. Ingram; parents, Alice and James Grafton; brother, John C. Higgins and numerous family members and friends. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her family and four children, Debbye Ingram Storer and husband, Bruce King, Stephani G. Ingram (John Drummond), Jeff Ingram and wife Annette, Darron Ingram and wife Susie, eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. In her professional career, she assisted great teachers and principals associated with Tioga High School, Tioga Jr. High and Mary Goff Elementary. She accompanied her husband throughout his coaching career at Tioga High School attending every game and being his biggest supporter both on and off the field in victory and defeat. She continued to walk beside him throughout his extended career with Woodmen of the World Life Insurance including moving to Omaha, Nebraska, making new memories and lifetime friends. During their 2 year stay in Omaha, one of the biggest highlights for her was when all of her children, spouses and grandchildren planned their vacation to visit and attended the 1996 & 1997 NCAA College World Series watching LSU Tigers win! She will be sadly missed by each person to whom she touched their life and will continue to be a great inspiration for all left behind.

Friends may visit on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 3:00 p.m. until time of service.
