Obituary for Dennis Furrell Frost
Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Furrell Frost will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverends Ricky Belgard and Tom Jordon officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Frost, age 71, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, August 25, 2017 at The Summit Nursing Facility, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Frost was an ordained deacon at Pineville Park Baptist Church prior to being a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was a member of the Pineville Lion’s Club and was very involved with Dixie Youth Baseball for over 30 years. He was a Deputy for the Tax Assessor’s Office for 33 1/3 years. Dennis was also a member of the Alexandria Heart City Pace Setter Lion’s Club for over 10 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ann Frost of Alexandria; one son, Brian Keith Frost of Pineville; three daughters, Angela Ann Williams (Thomas) of Austin, Texas, Kimberly Diane Pickering (Jonathan) of Hineston and Connie Marie Frost (Jimmy) of North Carolina; twin brother, Edward Earl Frost (Hilda) of Pineville; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
