Memorial services for Ms. Carol Cecilia Poole Smith, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, with Reverend Joel Johnson officiating.

Ms. Carol, age 62, of Ball, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Ms. Smith was a loving mother and grandmother and was deeply loved by her family. She was a friend to everyone because she never met a stranger. She loved to cook, garden, and to fish. Ms. Carol was also an avid supporter of the Military and First Responders.

Ms. Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Doug Smith; parents, Sherman and Roberta Poole; and her brother, Allen Wilson.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Elliott (David), Karey Yates, and Monica Francis (David); son, Don Smith; sister, Dorothy Childers (Frank); seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of friends and family.

Friends may visit on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
