The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carol Poole Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Heather, sweetie... I'm so terribly sorry for the loss of Mrs. Carol. I have so many wonderful memories of her, going all the way back to 7th grade when we met for the first time. She was a wonderful person, inside and out and made a lasting impression on all that met her. She was such a loving, kind soul and ALWAYS ready to talk about how proud she was of you and the kids and David at any given moment. God bless you and your sister and family as you go through one of the most trying times of your lives. I love you and I'll always be only one phone call away, no matter how near or far you are. I'll continue to lift y'all up in prayers and pray you find the comfort and peace you all so deserve. Love you sweetie...

Condolence: Thank you, for such an awesome friendship over the past 20 years. You and I put a lot of guys (incarcerated) on their toes together and a lotta fish in the boat together. I will miss being able to call and check on you and your calls to check on me. Thank you for the privilege of knowing Doug and your daughters, who both look so much like you. I will continue to pray for them and hopefully still get to talk with them as well. Go rest now Mrs. Poole, I never could make myself call you Carol, you gave it one heck of a fight and you deserve a good rest, just know you will forever be missed. Love ya “ole girl”
